The shelf is made of type-304, heavy-duty 18-gauge stainless steel and features a 1/2-inch return on the edges to make it extra sturdy. The front edge is hemmed to create a smooth, safe surface. Beneath the shelf, the support brackets for the spindles are positioned and welded securely in place. Made of type-304, 18-gauge stainless steel, the brackets bear the two chrome-plated, durable, plastic spindles, each of which has a heavy-duty spring at its core.
